An Eye for Exotics

When I enter the doors of Paxton Gate, I always feel as though I’m in a natural history museum, where shopping becomes discovery. Where else can you find carnivorous plants, roaring lion heads and finger chopping beetles?

Described by a friend of mine a Hermes for witches and wizard, the store definitely holds you spellbound. On this last visit, I was transfixed by an adorably macabre taxidermist mouse, dressed as Napoleon.

I always have a great time in this shop – see for yourself.

I just love this White Silkie Chicken!!!

This Santa Claus would make a perfect gift for someone on your Christmas list.

(Paxton Gate is located at 824 Valencia Street. Open Sun-Wed, from 11:00am to 7:00pm and Thur-Sat from 11:00am to 8:00pm)

Tag along as I share musings on everything from family to business, which will hopefully inspire you and stir the mind. I am happy that you are along for the journey. Here’s to Living Lively!

Fantastic Jennifer! I love the mice, although I don’t think I would want one in my bedroom! Thank you for the heads up on this great place.
