Black and White Fashion for Spring!

IMG_7205 edited

Pairing Black and white clothes is perfect for spring or an anytime look. Like the ebony and ivory keys on the piano, black and white outfits are classic and meant to be played off of each other.

Black is usually associated with sophistication. It also has an added benefit of making you look slimmer, especially in photos. While white, which once was frowned upon before Memorial Day or after Labor Day, boldly livens up an all black outfit.

For all those reasons, I just love this black and white linen caftan that I recently wore over white pants. It’s dressy enough to wear here in San Francisco and New York City, but can still rock the Hamptons or Santa Barbara, some of my favorite watering holes.IMG_7149 edited

At the end of the month, I’ll be heading to NYC to visit friends and family. No surprise then, that I’ll be packing black and white clothes and accessories for the trip.

I love this! Some people have a hard time with black in spring and summer and white in fall and winter! Your classic look is perfect for everywhere and a classic put-together look!
